    大湄公河次区域物流研究中心（暨国际物流与运输学会中国分会湄公河区域委员会）是经国际物流与运输学会中国分会批准，成立于2005年12月，由专家学者和物流企业支持组建的物流专业研究与咨询服务学术机构，业务主管单位是国际运输与物流学会中国分会（北京）。

    Established in December 2005, Great Mekong Subregional Logistics Research Center (GMSLRC), or Mekong Region Committee of CILT-CHINA) is an academic institution approved by The Chartered Institute of Logistics&Transport-China. Under the supervision of The Chartered Institute of Logistics&Transport-China (Beijing), GMSLRC and its team of academic experts and logistics entrepreneurs provides the professional research and consultancy service in the field of logistics and transportation.

    国际物流与运输学会中国分会湄公河区域委员会的主要任务是联系大湄公河次区域国家运输、物流界的专家、学者、企业家、政府有关部门就大湄公河次区域交通运输与物流重大理论与实践问题进行研讨、交流，并将作为亚洲运输学会中国分会（EASTA）、国际物流与运输学会中国分会（CILT CHINA）、中国交通运输协会运输与物流研究会（STL  CCTA）的成员，加强中国运输与物流学术界与大湄公河次区域国家同行间的交流合作，努力提高大湄公河次区域运输与物流研究的水平，推动大湄公河次区域国家运输与物流产业的发展。

    The main task of Mekong Region Committee of CILT-CHINA (GMSLRC) includes promoting the research and communication on the important theoretic and practical issues in the Great Mekong Sub-regional areas among experts, scholars, and entrepreneurs from transportation and logistics field. As a member of the Easter Asia Society for Transportation Studies ( EASTS ), the Charter Institute of Logistics & Transport – China ( CILT-CHINA ), Society of Transportation and Logistics of CCTA ( STL CCTA), GMSLRC aims at enhancing the communication and cooperation between Chinese academia of transportation and logistics and other counterparts from the GMS areas, promoting research on GMS transportation and logistics, and facilitating the development of national transportation and logistics industry of GMS areas.

宗旨：大湄公河次区域的经济合作与发展促进了该区域物流产业的发展，大湄公河次区域物流研究中心将广泛联合、整合、组织社会各界的物流研究资源，与政府主管部门及物流企业紧密联系，开拓创新、积极寻找与探索大湄公河次区域物流产业发展过程需要解决的实际问题及对策，供政府决策部门和企业投资参考。

Missions：

- Integrate the available social resource and cooperate with governments at different levels

- Provide the sustainable development strategies of GMS areas transportation & logistics industry for governments and enterprises

- Provide consultancy service on the issues of GMS logistics industry development for the decision making of government and enterprises investment

- Carry out active academic communication and cooperation in transportation & logistics in Great Mekong Sub-regional area

- Carry out academic communication and cooperation between the staff from Chinese transportation & logistics and other counterparts from GMS areas

定位: 服务于大湄公河次区域物流产业，注重实证物流研究的应用。

Position ：To serve the GMS logistics industry and focus on Logistics &Transportation field research and related applications.

研究领域与方向：

（一）   大湄公河次区域物流产业政策；

（二）   区域物流规划与物流服务管理；

（三）   区域物流与供应链管理。

Research Fields and Directions:

- Research on logistics industry policies on GMS areas.

- Research on regional logistics planning and logistics service management.

- Research on regional logistics and supply chain management.

服务功能：

一、组织次区域国家运输与物流研究精英团队承接研究项目；

二、培养次区域物流师资与各类物流专业人才；

三、出版学术刊物、创建GMS物流研究专业网站平台，发布大湄公河次区域物流研究成果及物流业发展动态；

四、为政府、学术、企业搭建物流投资交流与合作平台；为运输与物流企业的发展与管理提供战略、规划、经营等方面的咨询；

五、参与和研究物流与运输技术装备、设施与作业的标准化工作；

六、研究促进次区域物流与运输信息技术的开发推广；

七、创建GMS物流发展基金，设立GMS物流创新奖；

八、组织GMS物流各种学术会议。

Academic Activities：

- Organize the research team from GMS countries and carry on the international research projects

- Organize the training on the sub-regional logistics professionals

- Publish the academic journal  and set up the website to present the update research results

- Provide the platform for the communication and cooperation among the governors, researchers and enterprises; provide the consultancy service for the strategic development planning and management of logistics enterprises

- Carry out the research on standardization of logistics& Transportation technology, equipment and operation

- Explore and promote the development of the subregional logistics& transportation information technology

- Establish GMS Logistics Development Fund and GMS Logistics Innovation Reward

- Organize GMS Logistics Academic Conferences
